A Local Hyrum Resident calls animal control Officer ,,,, A terrible Chicken destroyed her garden and all of her flowers..

The whole yards vegetation beaten to the ground unmercifully... rumors say...

It was Pandemonium ,Death or even worse....

Animal Control Officer Christianson unable to catch the Chicken calls for Back-up.... 1078... or was it 1033....

A Cache Valley Sheriff or were there several arrived at the seen...

The Chicken could not be caught so a Citation was issued...

A proud day for Officer Christianson

The Terrible Chicken was finally caught,,,

But he escaped and was last seen headed for the Barn.....

We have posted a neighborhood watch to try and keep this vandal under control..

The upper four lane highways between Nibbly and Hyrum came to a screeching halt Monday afternoon about 5 PM June 7th,, as a family of Geese were trying to cross the road,,, A lady got out of her car stopped traffic and escorted the cute little family across the road... everybody was concerned about the safety of the mother goose and her little goslings,, Nobody was upset,, they just wanted the little family's safety.. It was a spectacular sight,, Kids noses were pressed up against the car windows as the darling little family crossed the road in single file the mother followed by 7 fluffy little yellow goslings as they waddled slowly across the road,,,,

This story is starting to blossom so keep watchin as this story starts to unfold...

I wonder if Old Sherlock Christianson will track this gang down and bring them to justice...

Well court at Hyrum was held,, Seems as though it was not clear if the Chickens belonged to the one that received the citation or not, seems he had no chickens the only chickens were his sons,, and it was not clear if the chickens belonged to him or the neighbor..

The Judge says he will get to the bottom of this mystery so court will continue next Tuesday.. Somebody is going to pay...

and one more thing,, control Officer Christianson changed the ticket to read

after the fact??????

this might end up at the Supreme Court,, along with having God in our schools and our country...

June 19, 2004 update,

While at the Arts Festable in Logan yesterday, a neighbor whom I have never met came and introduced themselves to me. Said they were upset about some animal control officer coming to their neighbors house next door and telling them they had to get rid of their ducks, they weren't fenced,, as far as she knew no-one had complained. They were her grandchildren's favorite attraction when they came to visit..

So you know the rest of the story, You don't want to cross trails with an ""Angry Grandmother and her kids""

These animal control officers are becoming quite a Topic......

Also I have sent several e-mails to the mayor and the council with "" NO ANSWERS""

July 1st Update

The neighbors involved in THE Felony Chicken are getting together to work out the problem themselves rumors say..

This is what should have been done in the first place, The animal control officer should have just got the two neighbors together to work it out when the tempers cooled down,, In My Opinion...

Court is set for July 26 ,,, ????

I have received numerous e-mails in reference to this Chicken Story,, It seems many residents with chickens far and near are waiting for the outcome of this, Actually this is an important matter...

I had one resident tell me that back in the depression that chickens on the small farms are what made them survive, the neighbors all got together and hatched their chickens a few months apart so they always had eggs to share between them and also shared the older chickens at the dinner table. This is not a laughing matter to them.

They are concerned!!!!

City Officials are starting to harass me and my family,,, Imagine that...

There has been killings over stealing Strawberries in Utah
